A Range of Folding Furniture for Indoors or Outdoors

Dublin-based designer Eoin McNally created a collection of folding furniture, called C A R A V A N, that was designed to be used both indoors and out. The multipurpose table and chair began when McNally explored the “emotional value of adventurous pursuits in nature,” as a way to remind the user that you can have fun experiences when you come back home as well.

The pieces are meant to go on adventures, like camping, a picnic, or a party, and then when the event is over, you bring them home for use, further elevating an emotional connection between them and the user.

The pieces are made from ash wood, powder coated steel, waxed canvas, and leather, and are designed to show age over time as they’re used.
