Headed to the London Design Festival this year? Here’s one that you shouldn’t miss: 100% Design. Held at Olympia London September 21-24th, the show brings together international and UK-based brands and trade professionals in five areas: Interiors, Workplace, Kitchens & Bathrooms, Design & Build and Emerging Brands.
This year’s theme is “Experience,” so you can expect creative installations and experiences that will get you exploring the ways in which we live, work and consume. View the latest product innovations from brands, listen to engaging talks, and connect with design professionals and brands that will expand your design network.
From keynotes to panel discussions, the informative talks program has been curated by the Design Museum that will feature thought leaders in the industry who will explore trends, design practice, and the future of design.
Installations include a Ron Arad-designed lighting sculpture installation with LG Display, Hakwood’s ‘Design Path’ explores vibrations and water patterns, and a bar called The Materials Cloud, designed by Studio Glowacka, inspired by 1970s modular toys.
The Interiors section will feature leading international brands exhibiting everything from furniture and lighting to fabrics and accessories. Other interiors exhibitors include eccentric British designer Mineheart, lighting companies Designheure, Original BTC and Dowsing and Reynolds. New exhibitors for 2016 include German furniture specialists Axel Veit, who are presenting for the first time in the UK, veteran glass-makers B&S Glass Industries, lighting and furniture studio Industville.Arper \\\ Photo: Marco Covi
