ResHue Dogs Photography Series by Paul Octavious

We all know it can be hard for shelter pups to find a forever home, and often an awesome adoption photo can make all the difference. That’s likely part of what inspired photographer/designer Paul Octavious in the creation of his ongoing ResHue Dogs series. Working with PAWS Chicago, Paul takes eye-catching portraits of adoptable dogs, in this case bathed in colorful HUE lighting. Paul’s portfolio includes work for Nike, Hermès, and Mercedes and has been featured in the New York Times and the Paris Review – so these pups have some serious talent working on their behalf. You can follow Paul Octavious on Insta to see more.

Katherine, who lives with her family in the mountains of North Carolina, curated her own dog blog for a couple of years before joining the Design Milk team. If she ever won the lottery, she’d most definitely spend it all on live music & airfare to New York City. Other interests include craft beer, banjos, books, & BBQ.
