Ring Accent Tables Inspired by Raw Cut Precious Stones

Serena Confalonieri designed the Ring collection of tables for Saba Italia with jewelry in mind, particularly the raw cut precious stones that haven’t been mounted into their ring setting. The smooth metal bases look as if they’re holding onto the glass tabletops, much like the prongs of a ring setting holding a gemstone in place.

Confalonieri chose four metals for the table structures with each metal paired with a particular geometric form – copper (round with smoked glass), brass (square with extra clear glass), steel (oval with sea water glass), and nickel (octagonal with bronze glass) – each with a different color of glass perfectly set on top.
