Marte Haverkamp graduated last year from School of the Arts Utrecht, Netherlands and her graduation project, Shadow Construction.
She explains, “I have been fascinated by shadows for a long time and I wanted to do something with that. By capturing shadows of different objects and then materializing them, I came onto new objects. Objects with a high level of recognition that make you look twice.”
Now, she’s interested in exploring these conceptual objects further, giving them more practical function. I’m interested to see what she comes up with.
