A Simple Table Lamp Named Henk

What’s Henk, you say? Well, Henk is a simple table lamp designed by Amsterdam-based Jos Blom. The lamp’s body is made up of two birch ply parts that easily slide together to make up the tripod base. The two white plastic shells connect to the base with the help of a colored elastic cord that holds everything together snugly. A soft light emerges from the translucent shells.

The body is made from CNC milled parts that come ready to be assembled. The cord gets easily tucked away into a cut-out slot so it doesn’t dangle down.

Replacing the bulb is super easy – you just remove the elastic cord to release the shells.

The big handle on top makes it easy to move Henk around.
