If you follow Dog Milk on Instagram, then you may have already spotted these incredible portraits over the weekend. Photographer and dog lover Shayan Asgharnia teamed up with fellow dog-obsessed human and animal rescue crusader Suzanne Donaldson (aka Mrs. Sizzle) to photograph 19 recently rescued dogs in Los Angeles. Partnering with Social Tees Animal Rescue, who pulls dogs from high-kill shelters in LA and boards them until they get their ride to NYC to be fostered and adopted, Donaldson enlisted Asgharnia to take portraits of these lucky dogs to increase their odds of getting adopted. Currently, every dog you see pictured in this post (plus more!) are looking for foster homes in the Los Angeles area until they board their plane to the Big Apple where they hope to find forever homes.
