NEST is a new company that offers eco-friendly wood dog beds that are made in the manner of fine furniture. Although their line is a bit on the traditional side, I like the idea of creating something as sturdy as a real wood bed or sofa for your pet. If you read Design Milk, you probably know that I’m a sucker for good quality woodworking even if it leans a little more toward the traditional… I don’t know about you but I’d rather have a quality piece of furniture than a plastic piece of crap that I will need to replace in a year.
NEST has four bed styles with a variety of bed cushions made of distinctive indoor/outdoor fabrics that are water, stain and oil repellent. EcoLoft cushion filling is made from recycled soda bottles. To customize a bed to a particular decor, simple choose bed style, cushion cover fabric and wood finish.
