You know, sometimes you just find yourself browsing Flickr, like you do, looking for something inspiring and BAM! You hit the mother lode. Turns out, Boston Public Library has amassed a huge collection of photographs from the late 1800s/early 1900s, including this impressive collection of turn-of-the-century-ish cats and dogs doin’ their thing. It’s a fascinating peek into the past that’s sure to put a smile on your face — and reinforce the timeless (and special) nature of the canine-human connection.
