Let’s say you’re in a public restroom and it’s pretty gross. Have you ever used your foot to flush the toilet? I’ll admit it.
Lorenzo Buffa, Christina Zapata, and Teagan Ruane have come up with a concept called StepFlush to avoid using your hands to flush public toilets.

Nope, you have to lift your foot too high. They should floor mount these or forget about it.

I agree with tudza. If it was floor mounted, it would be great, but unless you’re all but the young, fit, and sober it would be difficult and even grosser to flush with your hand.

I also agree. Needs to be on the floor. I can already pick my foot up and flush that way. What someone needs to design is something that a guy can step on to raise the lid and then when he’s done the lid goes back down. Of course this would only be necessary for homes, but wouldn’t this cut down on the age old argument of lid up or lid down.
