Stilleven isn’t just another ladder-like bookshelf or table. Stilleven is an object for reflection. Designed by Valentín Garal for Peca, Stilleven appeals to those who collect and exhibit. Most of us collect things and hold on to items that have precious memories attached to them, and typically we display them somewhere so that we can hold on to those memories. Stilleven allows you to do that in its protected wool display case that incporporates a storage shelf and a mirror.
The case encourages us “to take a break from our day-to-day in order to catalogue the contents of the mind; the reflections on the mirror are a reminder of our surroundings.”
