Donya Coward is a UK-based textile artist, or as she refers to herself a “Textile Taxidermist”, meaning that her artwork is as much about preserving the craftsmanship of the Antique and vintage laces, embroideries and haberdashery materials she uses as it is about the animal imagery itself. And once you make your way through her impressive portfolio, it’s an apt term.
