The Espinel Pendant Light Shows off Good Design + Concern for the Environment

It’s well-known how guilty the design industry is of creating waste and overconsumption, and over the past few years there’s been a noticeable difference in the efforts put forth to change that. The Espinel light fixture, designed by Guillermo Cameron Mac Lean for Estepa, is only one example of the sea change taking place. Created to intentionally take up little space and use the smallest amount of raw material, each fixture is collapsible and easily transformed into its finished form. And the flat packaging is full of lighthearted fun! Espinel lighting has a long lifespan and can be easily recycled, and for their efforts they’ve been honored with the Seal of Good Design.
