The LIZ Collection Is a Study in Functional, Graceful Geometry

Sculptural and compact for a harmonious design, the LIZ Collection features graceful geometry and edited silhouettes to assist with the organization of your bedroom or entryway. LIZ marks the first collaboration between designer Silvia Musetti and high-end contemporary Italian design brand Giorgetti. The family includes the Liz-valet stand, Liz-bench, and Liz-console, each impressively versatile and practical while exuding the essence of an art d’objet.

Liz-valet Stand

Undeniably unique and sure to catch visitors’ attention, the LIZ Collection exudes an elegant functionality, perhaps most apparent in the Liz-valet stand. Tall with a small footprint, it’s formed using two cylinders of differing heights. The lower of the two, the trouser bar, is made from Canaletto walnut available in three finishes – natural, grey, or dark – and finished with a leather top. The upper cylinder, the metal hanger rod, is encased in non-slip leather and can be equipped with an optional sensor that provides a backlight for the onyx top with the movement of a foot. In this case, the top features a slight edge, creating a tray-like surface upon which to unload your pockets. Metal components for the valet stand are made of pewter.

Liz-bench

The Liz-bench and Liz-console share several design elements. For starters, their cylindrical legs differ in diameters from one another; one of the two is covered in leather or fabric and the other is composed of Canaletto walnut. The horizontal top they’re supporting is a two-layer pill shaped surface – one layer finished in leather and the other in walnut. Designed to be multifunctional, the bench includes an onyx disk atop one of its legs that hides a storage space and integrated lighting. The elegant design of the console is highlighted with a leather undertop.

This modest collection masterfully toes the line between architectural element and home furnishing as much as it marries decorative object with utility.
