The Modern Dog: 3D Textile Dog Sculptures by Tabitha Cottrell

These dog sculptures by mixed-media textile designer Tabitha Cottrell are, hands down, the coolest things I’ve ever seen. Ever. Hell, ever times infinity plus one — and then times infinity again.

Each of these 3D pups is carefully brought to life with found fabrics, embroidery, and hand-applied embellishments, using both traditional and new techniques. As you can see, Tabitha’s attention to detail is out of this world.

This series is just getting started (as of May 2013), so Clive and Porsha are the only two canines residing in Tabitha’s “The Modern Dog” collection gallery.
