The New York Dog by Rachael Hale McKenna

Photographer Rachael Hale McKenna‘s The New York Dog isn’t exactly new (it was released last spring), but it’s new to me, so I thought I’d share it with you. (I sort of made a little poem there.) The New York Dog is a lovely stew of three of my very favorite things — dogs, New York City, and taking pictures. McKenna’s photographs of New York’s pooches and their people present a dogcentric view of city life throughout the Five Boroughs, both in their homes and out on the town.
