UTREM LUX is the name of a sustainable design project by Degross Design & Innovation that takes old glass bottles and reuses them to make lamps.
The bottles, which had been discarded behind their studio have been individually handcrafted into something entirely new. They even used wood offcuts given to them by our next-door neighbors W. Hanson wood merchants and used them in the designs as well.
UTREM LUX was presented at Designersblock during the London Design Festival.

Just think of the old stuff we can turn into lamps. Ashtrays, mugs, toilets.
These are great and could be an awesome project for myself. Thanks for the post!

What lamp holder fittings do you use for these? B22?
