Always creatively thinking outside the box, Seoul-based design studio Craft Combine is transforming basic plywood by UV-printing on it. The trio of side tables, named PRINTED, are designed with a three-part leg structure that surfaces through the tabletop to act like a tray. The plywood panels are UV-printed in different tones of a color creating a gradient display that still allows the wood grain to show through. Depending on where the tables are being viewed, light and shadows intensify the color changes for a more distinctive look.
