Wall Mirrors That Play With Reflections

Normann Copenhagen just unveiled the Horizon Mirrors, designed by kaschkasch, at this month’s Maison&Objet in Paris. The simple design, which comes in three shapes and three colors, is outfitted with a practical steel shelf for placing objects which end up creating a cool visual effect.

Combining function with modern aesthetics, kaschkasch’s design was inspired when they were exploring paper model ideas and thought about the view of the ocean’s horizon. The mirror behind the shelf plays with the depth and the horizon created by items placed on the steel shelf, which double in the reflection.

The Horizon Mirrors come in a horizontal and vertical rounded rectangular versions and a smaller circular version. Each shape is available in matt white, grey, and delicate light blue.
