Wes Anderson’s Isle of Dogs

If you haven’t seen it yet, may I suggest you take a moment to watch the trailer for Wes Anderson’s Isle of Dogs (FOX Searchlight), slated for release March 23rd, 2018? The animated movie (which features the voices of Anderson regulars like Edward Norton, Tilda Swinton, and Bill Murray, as well as Bryan Cranston and Yoko Ono) takes place in an imagined future in which all the dogs from a Japanese city have been banished to an island garbage dump (thanks to a dog-flu epidemic) — and, in typical Anderson style, an epic adventure follows. From what I can tell, it looks completely awesome. Do yourself a favor and check out the trailer below.

Katherine, who lives with her family in the mountains of North Carolina, curated her own dog blog for a couple of years before joining the Design Milk team. If she ever won the lottery, she’d most definitely spend it all on live music & airfare to New York City. Other interests include craft beer, banjos, books, & BBQ.
