Yabu Pushelberg’s Heath & Oiseau Collection for Linteloo

Award winning international design firm Yabu Pushelberg has released a collection entitled Heath & Oiseau for Dutch furniture maker Linteloo during this year’s NYCxDESIGN. The furniture collection is characterized by an earthy palette of dark moss, stone and flax and is made from a variety of simple materials like ash, leather and linen.

Founded in 1980 by Glenn Pushelberg and George Yabu, the studio focused on giving a fresh spin on familiar furniture designs. The upholstered (Heath) group of the collection includes multiple sofa/chair configurations and a pair of patterned-stone coffee tables. The chairs have elegant curved lines incorporated into their designs and almost seem to float mid-air above the turned wood legs. For the wood (Oiseau) group, wood-frame dining/lounge chairs and solid wood dining/coffee tables are designed in inviting proportions to cultivate an intimate dining experience at home.
