Artist Javier de Riba goes from abandoned building to building, making his mark with paint. At first, it sounds just like another tagger. However, what Javier does is quite the opposite. Rather, he paints floors in the deserted areas, creating bold, graphic, tiled floors wherever he goes.
Armed with paint and a stencil, Javier paints layer by layer, then using the stencil to create the mosaic, tiled effect. He paints both large scale and smaller geometric patterns, all so intricate and detailed you wouldn’t believe it was made with spray paint.
