Located in the Bavarian foothills of the Alps, this narrow house, named Gut Feeling, sits surrounded by a green landscape and snowy mountains. While using natural materials, the home’s structure keeps it modern with clean lines and neutral colors. The house is part of Welcome Beyond, a website that features some of the best vacation rentals around the world, which means this property is available for rent!
On the ground level, there’s room to pull a car right into the home in an almost hidden garage.
While the design is a basic rectangle, two elevated terraces protrude out adding extra square footage.
When the terraces are opened up, you can see all the way through the house and out the other side, giving the narrow interior the illusion of more space.
The modest square footage is spread out over three levels – the ground floor houses the kitchen, dining room, and living room, the bedroom and bathroom are one floor up, and the top floor contains a freestanding tub and a flexible space that can be used as a bedroom or a den.
Dark neutral colors are paired with natural wood giving the interior a warm, cozy feel.
