UK-based design firm Studio Public recently completed a client project in a coastal getaway for an overworked city couple. They were looking for a tranquil escape from their hectic working life — a mixture of luxury and personality.
The neutral palette was inspired by the coastal location and the stunning sea views — soft hues of cream, white, and blue tones infuse the space with calm. In the bathroom, a larger glass sheet divides the tub and shower complete with a beautiful sea horizon that was digitally printed on the glass surface. There are also LEDs hidden in the floor for visibility at night.

In the living room, the sea palette is more evident and the simple bird-themed wallpaper is the homeowners’ favorite element. Um, that bookcase? Yes, please. I’ll take two.
Studio Public is now tackling the exterior landscaping, a space that is a bit out of their element and will present a fun challenge. I can’t wait to see what they’ll do!

What a light and serene place to tuck into for some r and r. They did a very tasteful job with their use of colors and accent pieces.
Can’t wait to see what they do with the outside as well!

Can you tell me where to find the tripod style lamps in the last photo?
