Abacus Watches

These watches use magnetic technology or something like that. The ball moves to and fro across the face of the watch with the flow of the wearer’s arm movements, but as soon as the Abacus reaches a horizontal position, the ball moves as if by magic - or at least by magnetism - to the right point in time. So if you are looking for a stopwatch, this one isn’t it. But, if you just want to know approximately what time it is and care more about the cool design and technology of your watch, then this is the one.

So cool! But, if you’re like me, it is not always easy to figure out what the exact time is. I have the same problem with the Movado watch. Still, this is a gorgeous timepiece.

I love the simplicity of the dial, but this watch looks like a bit of a pain, from practical purposes.

    Very cool, almost James Bondish.
