I was so confused when I first saw those shoes. They are beautiful but seem so impractical. I prefer a bit of form follows function in both my shoes and my buildings.
I do keep thinking about them though, so they’ve snaffled me.

They don’t look very comfortable either. Looks more like they’re hurting the feet.

What about thinking comfort as part of the functional part of the design!? Shoes that are 4″ and up are NOT comfortable, and are plainly unhealthy. So design for weirdness sake at the cost of function is not OK with me.

These, altho awkward looking, would be a great concept similar to putting rubber covers over your shoes…When you are visiting & you don’t want to ruin carpeting or flooring instead of leaving your entire shoe outside & possibly cluttering your bag with slippers you can just use these & leave the hard bottom outside & walk thru the home with the soft slipper part
