Interesting idea. But doesn’t the print on the roller need to be mirror image, in order to print right way round on the pastry ?

No you wouldn’t – if you think about a rubber date stamp – same principal – and the letters are the right way around on there!

@Dave – I’ve never seen a rubber stamp that is readable before it is stamped and also readable after. Jo is correct. You can test this easily. draw the letter P on your fingertip with a marker pen and roll your finger across a piece of paper.
