When you think of quilts, you might think of anything but modern and that couldn’t be further from the truth. Quilting no longer belongs only to your grandmother as you’ll see in this upcoming show, Black & White, Twelve Quilts, where 12 contemporary quilters from the U.S. and Canada will be exhibiting their work in New York City.

The show runs from May 12-15th at 40 Ludlow Street in New York City, and will feature the work of Maura Ambrose of Folk Fibers, Meg Callahan, Season Evans, Emily Fischer of Haptic Lab, Coulter Fussell of YaloRUN Textiles, Mariah Gillespie, Lesley Gold, Lorena Marañon, Kiva Motnyk of Thompson Street Studio, Lindsay Stead, Pamela Wiley, and Erin Wilson.
