The Butterfly Chair by Laurie Beckerman was inspired by the ethereal beauty of Lucite. The sheer form of a butterfly is created with simplicity and harmony of proportion. The wings organically grow out of the circular seat, giving the appearance of a chair about to take flight.
The Butterfly will be exhibited at this year’s ICFF show at the Javits center in NYC.
