When not keeping busy as a muralist, photographer, printmaker, and musician, the New York-based artist Maya Hayuk creates paintings that include colorful palettes and wild patterns. This group of work was recently on display at Toronto’s COOPER COLE gallery in a solo exhibition.
This wall covered in layered canvases becomes a three-dimensional installation of criss-crossing, brightly colored lines full of eye-catching depth.
Other smaller works on canvas incorporate Hayuk’s signature kaleidoscope of vivid goodness.
