Ninna is Ninna Thorarinsdottir, an Icelandic designer and artist who creates fashion pieces with an avant garde twist. Our favorite happens to be Dancing Dress. No, not a dress you dance in – it’s a dress that DANCES. You heard me correctly! The dress, quite literally, dances with the help of robotics hidden inside the dress and it’s all controlled by a remote.
Watch the video to see the dress shaking its thing:
Just think, if you wear this, you can stand there looking pretty and let the dress do all the work!

Fun concept!
I’m surprised by the harsh, pointed forms, I would have expected something more fluid for dancing. Then again, the motion is akin to quivering meat, which is just as curious.
It makes me think of a Fifth Element costume that interprets Crunk with sex machine mechanics. Cool but disturbing.

What a sweet way to stay beautiful while dancing *.*
Its a different way to “stand up” yourself.
I know a furniture brand from my hometown that “dresses” a piece with a gorgeous pattern of peacock feathers ~ Divine by Koket where Love Happens ~ http://bykoket.com/catalogue/divine.html
