Designer Mezuzahs by Jacob’s People

A mezuzah is a piece of parchment inscribed with religious verses that is kept in some kind of case. They are hung at the door of a Jewish household to symbolize their faith. Leah Greengarten formed Jacob’s People to bring a contemporary look to such a traditional symbol when she was in the market for more original wedding gifts.

Each limited edition mezuzah is made of porcelain by designer Erin Lightfoot and features a colorful, geometric design. Who says that religious objects can’t be modern in design?
