I think it’s sad that you think your not a valued customer because one contest has social media requirements. Obviously they do this to gain some recognition – its the reason for all company giveaways!
There are plenty of contests that are just twitter related, at least they tried to reach the mass majority by allowing twitter and facebook entries.
