We recently posted a sofa that was inspired by a pallet and now we’re showing a chair made from one. The Fold-out Pallet Chair from Gas & Air Studios combines strength of form and environmentally aware design. Each piece, produced in Wimbledon, London, is made from a single wooden pallet — thousands of which continue to fill landfill sites across the UK each year. No extra treatment is used on the wood during the production process and the paint used is solvent free. The design is compact and when folded down many chairs can be stacked easily for storage.
Each chair is made from a single pallet with 14 different color choices.
