WTF. Had I known it gets freezing here in San Diego in the morning and evenings even though its lovely during the day, I would have packed more substantial gear.

I’m from the Midwest, and even though it gets cold out here, I refuse to wear a coat. It’s california. I refuse.

As a college student who stupidly decided to move away from home for school, I totally agree that every San Diegan needs a cool coat, mornings and evenings can get really brisk, even in summer. The nice thing is you can rock a cami underneath. Once, when I was taking a class at an area JC, I observed a girl wearing a “wife beater” tank with a scarf and flip flops. I loved it, it is the perfect nod to the winter season, but with true San Diego flair. Get the coat, you’ll wear it at least through January.

i kind of refuse to get a coat. i have just been layering like crazy. i’m also guilty of the scarf + flip flops!!
