I think you have porsches confused with ferraris – 911s are all about having fun and going fast and the car deciding if you get to live through the experience; most of the owners I’ve met have been cool gearheads, not at all like the average bigtruckguy.
Also, they’re pretty cheap if you feel like getting an older one.
