The new Joya Rocker by Monte Design won’t be available until January 2011, but we got a sneak look at it. Designed by Ralph and Michelle Montemurro, the Joya Rocker is a fully upholstered and comfortable chair, with a solid wood base in either white or solid American walnut.

Our second baby is due in December and I’ve got my eye on this rocker for the new nursery. The walnut base is gorgeous!

Very sleek and love the colour. But I’m a bit more partial to the nursing chairs by Olli Ella (I am in the UK and expecting our third child next month!)

Does anyone have this rocker? I’m relocating to Toronto in a few months but want to save $$ on taxes by ordering while still in the States. I have a 2 year old, and the Poang just isn’t comfortable for snuggling and reading together.
