Following the success of Philippe Starck’s Mademoiselle chairs upholstered in Moschino fabrics (see photo below), the joint venture between Kartell and Moschino continues with the introduction of their first collection of plastic footwear for Spring/Summer 2011.

Cute, colorful, and lightweight, the BowWow ballet flats are made from interwoven plastic, and are embellished with the classic Moschino bow. I want them in every color.
Though they’re the fourth iteration of plastic fantastic footwear from Kartell (others include the Glue Cinderella, the Lady, and the Sofia boots for F/W 2010), the BowWows are really the fruit of Kartell’s progress in the design of surfaces and textiles — they are manufactured with an Italian industrial molding process using a top-quality non-toxic thermoplastic technopolymer that is 100% recyclable.

I agree with the first two people. Way toooo cute my goodness I can’t wait till the knock offs come out because I’m sure these are also insanely pricey shoes.
