Krabhuis: A Cardboard House for Cats to Scratch

For all your feline companions that have cat scratch fever (I couldn’t help it), the Krabhuis (Dutch for scratch house) was made for them! Constructed out of cardboard, this simple and modern house was designed for them to scratch and play to their heart’s content.

Do away with those enormously ugly cat scratching post monstrosities and replace them with this stylish alternative that will make you and your cat very happy. Designed by three Dutch architects, this environmentally friendly house is made from 90% recycled material that consists of 48 layers of duofold cardboard.

Krabhuis is produced in The Netherlands and is assembled by workers from Amarant, an organization that helps people with disabilities.
