The Loop Chair by Dutch designer Sophie de Vocht for Casamania is part chaise part carpet.
Inspired by Sophie’s interest in the technique of tufting, which is typically used to make rugs, she created a simple metal frame over which to loop the textiles in different shapes. As the chaise drops to the floor, the loops become exaggerated until they fan out onto the floor.
nice! i’m one of those people that likes to bury their feet when sitting/laying down (cuz they’re always so cold), so this chair would be awesome for that!
