A lot of times when you hear the word marble you think of huge, chunky slabs that are used in kitchens and bathrooms, and sometimes furniture. Rarely do you see someone using marble on such a small scale and in a modern way like Marblellous does.

Filio Pnevmatikou hails from Athens, Greece and launched this line after growing up working for the family marble company. The mining engineer/interior designer creates the line of handcrafted tableware that includes platters, serving plates, dishes, and coasters, all made from Greek marble. The details added, like small holes and curves make each piece unique and perfect for any table or use.

We love how such a strong, heavy stone such as marble can appear to be so delicate.

This is a really nice idea that needs a bit more refinement. The narrow handle portion of the bulbous cheeseboard needs to be longer, the handles on the rectangular tray would be more elegant if they incorporated “D” shaped cutouts and the larger cloud looks sadly misshapen. All easily changed.
