I agree with Brent. I would never have a gate with slats that a baby could climb up and over!! Their toes and fingers are very tiny and could easily get in between the slats!

Isn’t there a fear the baby will climb up it? As lame as it looks I think by code gates are supposed to have only vertical slats.
