The Night Light Table is a collaboration between designers Charlie Crowther-Smith and Richard Bannister. They wanted to design something that emitted an ambient glow that also functioned as a piece of furniture. It comes with walnut legs and a choice of ash or oak top (pictured). It is available in the rainbow of colors shown.

I adore these. Such a great idea, funny that I haven’t seen anything like them before. I always love to find ways to add a bit of unexpected color to a room.

It is great that you like them. They look great in the dark, washing the room in a colourful glow.

not to be fussy, but I’m guessing that it emits a glow, not omits a glow (that would make it darker when you turn it on, that would be interesting, if a bit dyslexic)

Design my ass!
Worst piece ever.
No skills in choice of material and colour.

Gunter’s right. It’s “emit”, not “omit”. Really no excuse for a mistake like that.

Sure there is! I can think of a few.

Have you guys being nasty re: typos and making rude comments on blogs got nothing better to do? If you don’t appreciate it – fine, but keep the nasty comments to yourself.
These are stunning in their simplicity, well done for a simple yet dynamic result!

I like the idea.
So where are the extension cords and how long are they? What powers the light? LEDs?
