I saw these over at Cribcandy and think I need to have them. Too bad they’re $3,200.
Maybe I prefer modernism to postmodernism, but I really don’t “get it”. Are they so downright ugly they’ve come full-circle?
Are you kidding?! This is fantastic. The awkward, bright, angular rods go great with the simple cushion. I could never afford one, I agree it may be too pricey for what it is, but I love it. It’s unexpected and fun.
I’ll concede to the “unexpected” part. I, for one, was not expecting anyone to be willing to pay for something so ugly.
wow… so, yeah… if anyone wants one i would be happy to build a version of the base. obviously for a bit less than that cost.
