PortiqueArmchair by Paris-based designer Florent Coirier is inspired by garden swings as well as the walk-loading of goods from the port of Nantes/SaintNazaire. Working with the craftsmen of the Autonomous Port,GPM Nantes/Saint-Nazaire, Coirier used aluminum tubing, oak and polyester nautical rope, both materials common to shipbuilding.
