R3 Triangle Building in California by Lloyd Russell
This mixed use building is located in Little Italy in San Diego. If you’ve never been to San Diego, Little Italy is an up-and-coming modern neighborhood featuring some fairly affordable condos (for San Diego). When I lived there, I used to drive to Little Italy to go to Blick Art Supply and sometimes stopped for something yummy to eat.

this is right on the corner of india and laurel in san diego. a block away from the casbah. i totally recognize it, but i guess i never really took a moment to eye it up. i’ll put that on the list.
They had a thing about this house on hgtv last year. The coolest feature is that the large 16 paneled window you see in the pictures actually lowers down like a draw bridge and becomes a deck.
