I have been waiting for someone to carry nanimarquina’s Roses rug. I am glad DWR jumped at the chance. It is one of my favorite rugs and I first spotted it a few months ago in a design magazine. How do you suppose you vacuum this thing?

this is so gorgeous – what a wonderful piece for a romantic bedroom…

The rug on the photo above is not lying on the floor, it must be hanging upside down or from the seiling. This rug is definately not standing up on his own. Fake photo!! Take a look at it at DWR yourself. Also look on Marquina´s website at the video on how it´s made . Sure not rosy or romantic.
The alternative is the website with really outstanding ecofriendly and sustainable architecture rugs. http://www.illustration.de.tt

I would say a good old-fashioned rug beater! That’s a coooool rug.

i went into dwr and looked it b/c i love it so much too!!! the sales associate told me you can’t really vacuum this rug. basically he said you just have to spot clean the darn thing, and be very careful. so cute, but not the most practical thing. i think it has to be placed somewhere with low volume of traffic.

The rugs from Illu Stration can be vacuum-cleaned daily. I bought The Original and even after years they still look the same. Our rug is tested everyday by 2 kids. So it seems that you don´t save money when you buy a “cheap” product which is not really cheap at all. Quality will always cost a bit more.

[...] Oh lordy! I cant get enough. These wool ottomans and pillow remind me of Helen Amy Murray’s floral chair and Nani Marquina’s Roses Rug. [...]
