Rouleaux: A Series of Handmade Rolling Pins

Beirut-based product designer Stéphanie Moussallem created a series of handmade rolling pins, called Rouleaux, using a variety of materials, like brass, marble, wood, and aluminum.

Moussallem participated in an exhibition at the SMO Gallery Beirut where designers were asked to design objects based on the theme “around the table”. Each rolling pin takes on a life of it’s own, with its personal characteristics, shapes, and textures, turning them into functional sculptures for the kitchen.
