What does a company like Sancal do when they reach their 40th birthday? Well, they could have had a party but that seemed a bit frivolous and fleeting, so they kicked it into high gear and decided to spiff up their “mature” facilities for the 70 people that work there and make it all happen. From the moment you step in the building, you can see that art and design are important factors in the company.
It took five long months to complete, but the facilities were amped up with murals, signage, design vignettes, and freshly styled dining rooms to brighten up everyone’s workday. The dining rooms got facelifts and become showrooms themselves, offering up the products in real-life situations.
Color played a big part in livening up the cold, dull workplace, ensuring a happy environment for the employees.
Murals were painted to lighten up and energize the production areas.
Large geometric patterns are painted on the walkways playfully guiding visitors through the space.
The bright, colorful shades used on the murals and accented throughout, reflect the colors often seen in the products they sell.
Vignettes are set up showing their products in various scenarios.
