Shaky: A Sculptural Vase from Enzyma

After a year post-launch, Italian brand Enzyma is back with the start of a year full of household furnishings and the first up is Shaky, a vase designed by founder Gianluca Sgalippa.

Shaky is a playful, ceramic vase that reminds me of one of those bendy straws or a Slinky. The cylindrical shape, bends and then curves back in the same direction forming a U-turn. One of the legs stops short of touching the table surface, making it appear unstable, or perhaps, ‘shaky’. Have no fear though, there is a metallic weight placed in the base leg to prevent tipping over.

The slit in the top allows for flower placement.
